Step 1
1. BEAT butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
Step 2
2. MIX in flour and baking soda by hand until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 3
3. DROP by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Step 4
4. BAKE in preheated 375F oven for 10-12 min, or until lightly browned. Transfer to rack to cool.
