Instructions

Step 1
1-In a bowl mix together the water, yeast, sugar, salt, melted butter and flour. Mix until your dough forms then cover and let it rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
Step 2
2-lightly flour the dough then cut it in 8 equal pieces, then form those into 8 small balls.
Step 3
3-Take each of those balls shape it into a log then cut it into bite size pieces.
Step 4
4-boil 8 cups of water and add a 1/4 cup of baking soda
Step 5
5-Put the dough in the boiling water and boil for only 30 to 40 seconds and take them out and place them in a tray lined with parchment paper.
Step 6
6-mix together the egg and 1 tablespoon of water and brush each of those pieces with the egg mixture.
Step 7
7-Sprinkle Kosher salt on top then into the oven that you go at 425° for 15 minutes or until golden.
Step 8
8-For the cheese sauce melt the butter then add the flour and cook that for about a minute.
Step 9
9-Then add in one can of evaporated milk whisk until no more clumps then wait for it to thicken up.
Step 10
10-Once it thickens up turn off the heat, add in your cheese whisk until you have a smooth and creamy cheese sauce and serve it with your pretzel bites and enjoy!!!
