One thing you might not know is that the core of an apple can be poisonous to humans. The little pips or seeds contain amygdalin, which can turn into cyanide when it reaches your stomach. Of course, you’d have to eat a lot of cores for there to be any significant effect. Around 40 apples worth of seeds! So you can go ahead and eat your apples without any worries.
