1 tsppaprika

1 tspcinnamon

1 cupchicken stock
water plus a stock cube - or bouillon for gluten-free - is fine

400mltinned chopped tomatoes

2 Tbsptomato puree
paste for US

2 tspsugar
this is to counteract the acidity in the tomatoes

400mlcan full-fat coconut milk

2 Tbspcornflour
cornstarch, mixed with 5 tbsp cold water to make a slurry, optional

boiled rice

coriander
chopped, cilantro

finely chopped
