Substituted venison for beef. I have never had a Maid Rite sandwich before, so I can not compare. It is very flavorful. The family liked them.

Really great flavor! Doubled the recipe and we will have enough for one more meal. I did leave a bit of grease in the pan for flavor when simmering.
