Sticky BBQ Chicken Meatballs with Broccoli Slaw

I made it as low carb as I could and it was very good

The meatballs were delicious. I made homemade bbq sauce and ground my own chicken breast fresh. However 1 lb of chicken is not nearly enough for 4 ppl. It was enough for 2 ppl and we had 5 meatballs leftover. The slaw dressing was good but a bit too sweet. Served meatballs with rice. Will make again for sure.

Really tasty and super filling meal. Made the meatballs exactly as per the recipe and they turned out great. I would add less bbq sauce next time, likely reducing it to 3/4 of a cup and 1/4 cup honey. Bought a slaw kit from the store and used the sauce package from that, so cannot comment on the slaw dressing for this recipe.

We really liked the meatballs although the sauce was a touch overly sweet so we added hot sauce and will add salt in the future, the slaw was terrible, way too sweet, but tbh I’m not a huge coleslaw fan in the first place.
