I've been making these every Christmas for as long as I can remember. Still have people asking me to make them. 20 pints this year.

Instructions
Step 1
Use food processor to slice cukes onions and peppers.
Step 2
In a large pot, multi layer sliced vegies with a tray of ice cubes and koser salt. Allow to sit at room temp overnight.
Step 3
Combine sugar, vinegar and spices. Heat to simmer.
Step 4
Drain pickles from brine and heat in several batches with sugar/vinegar mixture until almost boiling.
Step 5
Can in pint jars water bath method. Makes 6 pints
