Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

It is a little honey forward, but very tasty. Next time I will blend strawberries for a smoother version or just mash them more.

This is seriously the best ice cream that will knock your socks off!! I don't even like strawberry ice cream that much... but this is so good and fresh!

Flavor is great, but the texture it too icy for my taste. Makes sense, seeing as it comes out to about half strawberry juice, which is essentially water. I’m going to try making it with eggs next time and see if that helps.

I did probably another cup of cream and half cup milk (used in place of half and half) and a little extra sugar. Delicious

Delightful. My ice cream maker wasn't working. I whipped the mixture in an ice cold bowl with my mixer until it thickened. Froze that for about 45 minutes, then whipped it again until it was a little thicker. I then ripened it in containers. I will definitely make it again.
