Slow Cooker Beef Short Ribs

Awesome recipe! Turned out perfect!

Wow this was put together in 10 minutes and ready and delicious waiting for us when we got home from a busy day. Even my husband said it was great and he is always a critic of meats.

Used onion soup mix instead of onion powder. Beef bouillon cubes. Fantastic !

Simple and delicious. I didn't have fresh rosemary, so I added dry. I also made gravy from the au jus.

This is a simple, yet rich and deeply flavorful dish. I made mine in my instant pot, which only took about 45 minutes to an hour. Put it together with a good mash and you have a hearty and comforting meal that makes mouth-watering memories. Winner!

Very good! I added a chopped onion as well. At the end i sautéed some mushrooms and removed from pan, made a roux, then used the pot liquid to make a gravy with the mushrooms added back in. Fabulous!

This was super easy. The meat was nice and tendor but the flavor was just OK. It lacked a little something. We used 2 lbs of boneless short ribs, and a little more than half the recipe (14oz can of broth). Maybe bones would have imparted more flavor. We didn't cook down the juices after, that could have been the missing piece. I would try it again with a bit more pepper, fresh garlic and onions (I added just a tad of leftover diced onions and garlic paste, and maybe add red wine as others recommended. Served with grits and a salad.

Recipe in half for two with left overs. Enjoyed with mashed and green beans. I don't know why exactly, but this was very very good. We cooked some of the juices down and that was killer. These were boneless. Absolutely stellar.
