Instructions
Step 1
Salt and pepper the roast to taste

Heat the oil in a heavy pan and sear the roast on all side over high heat

Add the pot roast to the crockpot

Sprinkle in a packet of au jus gravy, a packet of ranch seasoning,6- 8 pepperocinis and add 6 tablespoons of butter on top of the roast.
Step 5
Cook on low 6-8 hours
