Pork Carnitas (Mexican Slow Cooker Pulled Pork)

So tasty! Will definitely be a staple meal for my family!

Made in Ninja Foodie Possible Pro Sear. Braise 2.5 hours (1 hour on rack). 2 hour on hi slow cook. Use zest from one orange and 2 limes. Doubled recipe for 7lbs.

Very good but a little salty. Made tacos for dinner, a burrito and quesadillas the next day. Even after crisping off the meat it was still moist.

Made this in the oven with the braiser at 150C for 3 hours. The meat was crazy tender and delicious, however there was less than one cup of liquid at the end even with foil under the lid. This made the end result a little dry. In the future I’ll probably go a 1.5kg cut to account for reduced liquid.

Make carnita sliders for dinner.

Would probably pair well with some sort of guacamole, or something to bring some freshness.

Had this as nachos. Wonderful meal for my husband and I with plenty of leftovers for lunches. I did add only about 4 cloves of garlic and the flavors still turned out amazing.

Perfect for meal prep bowls! I serve with rice, black beans, grilled veggies, lettuce & lime crema.

We didn’t have the patience to wait for this to Crisp up. It was delicious! Had it in wraps with diced red onion, tomato, cucumber, coriander, jalapeños, avocado and cheese

¡Muy bueno! This came out amazingly! The pork was so juciy yet crispy, should've tried to find some proper Mexican Coke but used Coke No Sugar instead so the flavour came through, I added some honey to the stock for the sweetness.
