Homemade Strawberry Cake

Basically perfect

It was very good, I found her other recipe for buttercream frosting and that was probably all the strawberry flavor the cake needed, it was so sweet.

Love this recipe. To make life easier, just buy strawberry preserves in the bottle.

Made September 2024 in Spokane. Ready good. Baked it for 26 minutes at 325 convection.

Absolutely delicious. The strawberry puree part for the cake was a bit lobnoxious but rather do that than use artifical anything.

Great cake recipe! I was apprehensive to make a cake from scratch but this one was really delicious! I had to reduce down the strawberry purée for closer to an hour and added about 6 minutes to the baking time using 9” rounds. I made this for a birthday party and it was a hit.
