Instant Pot Applesauce

I made this for my partner to go with roast pork. He lived it

I love applesauce and this recipe did not disappoint. It was the perfect amount of tangy for my taste and the cinnamon was a perfect complement.

Really quick and easy! Needs some sugar though, so I’ve been mixing in some brown sugar. Then it’s really tasty! It is a bit watery right out of the instant pot, but after it was refrigerated it thickened up. Filled an entire mason jar, with a little left over.

For anyone canning, one batch makes about 1 Qt. Adding some brown sugar and boiled the extra liquid off. I replaced lemon juice with apple vinegar, and you can't tell the difference

So easy!! 🤯 So delicious!! 😋 This recipe makes about 4 cups (32 oz) of applesauce.

After this, I'll never buy store bought apple sauce again. I made this 3 times now with different apples, and it's great every time.

Fast and easy.. I added a little sugar to mine.. My apples were a little too tart.
