Honey Joys Recipe
Instructions
Prep:30minCook:25min
Growing up in the 70’s, no children’s party was complete without honey joys. Although, with only four ingredients, they were so simple to make, you had to wait for a friend’s - or your own - birthday to roll around to eat them. And there they’d be, sitting pride of place with the chocolate crackles and frogs in a pond. Luckily, this isn’t the case for younger generations, and they now also appear as an after-school snack. The crazy thing about honey joys is that they only have one tablespoon of honey in them. Yet when this meagre amount melts into the butter and sugar it coats the cornflakes perfectly, creating a perfectly crisp glaze when baked. This is the classic honey joy recipe from the Kellogg’s pack! Tried and tested with no added sprinkles or nuts just straight up poppets of golden, crunchy joy!
