Ingredients
9 servings
2 cupsRotisserie Chicken
about half a rotisserie chicken, can also use leftover chicken or make chicken
¾ cupBBQ Sauce
I used a Carolina BBQ sauce but use what you prefer
1 packHawaiian Slider Buns
0.25red onion
thinly sliced
¼ cupCilantro
finely chopped, can substitute parsley
1 cupCheddar Cheese
freshly grated, I used Cabot Wickedly Habanero Cheddar Cheese for some spice
avocado oil spray
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Meanwhile add shredded rotisserie chicken to a bowl - I used a combination of white and dark meat. Pour in BBQ sauce and mix well.
Step 2
Spray the sheet pan with cooking spray or melted butter. Add the bottom half of the slider buns. Layer the BBQ coated chicken evenly across the buns. Spread the thinly sliced onions and chopped cilantro on top of the chicken. Finally, sprinkle on the cheddar cheese.
Step 3
Place the other half of the slider buns on top and spray with cooking spray or melted butter. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the slider buns are golden.
