Instant Pot Mac and Cheese

Less Mozzarella next time and more of the cheddar. Mozzarella made it very stringy.

I added some onion powder and italian seasoning, and it was so good! I'm definitely saving this recipe to make it again.

I love this recipe even more with diced jalapeños added just before the milk and cheese. A couple of slices of American cheese makes it super creamy.

It was ok but not what I expected

Added cayenne, garlic and oregano, substituted the chicken stock for vegetable stock! Added cooked bacon afterwards and only cheddar instead of all those other cheeses. Only did about 1.5 cups of cheddar aswell- came out great!

4 cuos pasta is 16oz. Add extra garlic powder, enhance with any other spice blend you like. Cajun spice is great.

Very good, only use as much cheese as needed not all of it.

Mozzarella is too stringy. Pre-shredded cheese will work in a pinch. American cheese slices add creaminess.

I mixed a shredded Buffalo chicken recipe I got from budget bytes in at the end and it is delicious!

I used water instead of broth and increased salt to 1tsp. I used 500g of gluten free pasta and increased water by 1/2 cup. I used full 1 cup milk mixed with corn flour. Pasta held up great after 5 minutes cooking and mixing. I don't see any broken noodles in my bowl. Only used about 350g of cheddar and 100g or less of parmesan. I used garlic powder and skipped the rest of spices. Love it as a quick and easy comfort food.

This wasn't terrible but it felt like a compromise. The noodles don't hold up great in the pressure cooker, and the cheese sauce is much more dry/thick than other Mac and cheese recipes. It's fast and decent, but dirtying one more pan on the stove, you can do better in not much more time.

GF Smaller Macaroni pasta cooking: 0 Minutes at HIGH + 10 Minutes Natural Release. Swap mozzarella with gruyere. Add mustard.

It’s super tasty! We love it at our home. I use homemade stock and sriracha ❤️ I also use gluten free elbow macaroni. I reduced the time to 3 minutes with quick release. The noodles held up better but are still very soft.

We like it better without the chicken brooth

Not really a thumbs down, more of a neutral it was ok. Super easy. Think with some tweaking it could be better.

I used sharp cheddar cheese, smoked apple gruyere, and parmesan cheese. I bought a parmesan truffle/salt/pepper seasoning that I use in lieu of the powder garlic/salt/pepper since the seasoning mix already has that..I put this seasoning at the end of cooking after the adding in milk/cheese process.

The only Mac and cheese dish the family will eat!

substituted just colby jack and cheddar. that helped with the stringiness

overall pretty good, the mozzarella does make the cheese blob up though. I might replace that with more cheddar next time
