Instructions
Step 1
Slice onions about 1 inch wide.
Step 2
Take two rings and insert mozzarella cheese in between. Make sure it's stuffed really tight so the rings don't fall apart
Step 3
Whisk eggs in separate bowl.
Step 4
In another bowl add flour, salt and garlic powder.
Step 5
In another separate bowl add your panko crumbs.
Step 6
Dip your onion rings in flour first, then egg wash, back to flour, back to egg wash and finally into panko crumbs.
Step 7
Really pack on the panko crumbs so you will have good crispy out around your onion rings.
Step 8
Spray with oil on both sides and air fry at 400˚ for 15 mins or bake at 425˚ for 17mins.
