This was my very first recipe video that went viral! I think it's because this Japanese butter rice is incredibly delicious and unbelievably easy to make. It has been almost a year since I posted this video, and people are still leaving comments telling me that they have been eating Japanese butter rice EVERY SINGLE DAY since then!

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare 2 small bowls. Place 1/2 cup of hot steamed rice in each small bowl. Dig a hole in the middle.
Step 2
Put 1 tbsp of butter in the hole, bury it up with rice.
Step 3
Drizzle 1-2 tbsps of light soy sauce over the top of rice.
Step 4
Use a pair of clean scissors to shred 1/4 sheet of sushi nori. Sprinkle the shredded nori over the rice.
Step 5
Top with pork floss or crushed potato chips.
Step 6
Mix well and serve.
