Quick and Easy Stromboli

Tastes great. I would recommend a second one if you have 3 people.

It was tasty and really easy to make.

My kids and husband voted this as a win, so it’s a win for me! I thought it was a little bland, but apparently I was alone. It was super easy to make, so major bonus points for that!

Added ricotta cheese as well, needed to bake a little longer, made w pasta salad as a side

I used crescent roll dough since that is what I had on hand. The one can of crescent dough was enough for 2 people. Would need another can to feed more. Used hard salami and ham for the meats.

Double for leftovers, add spinach, subbed ham for salami.

Family loved it! We will def make again.

Fast and easy. I didn't put the sauce inside, only had it for dipping, and i would experiment with different ingredients, but be careful not to use too much, it rolls to be huge

Maybe it's just me and my phone. But, the instructions tab takes you to what appears to be a frozen website. (For food) So, from the photos, I just layered all the ingredients, starting with the sauce. In Central Oregon, I wound up cooking it for approximately 20 minutes. Serve with a simple salad and some of the pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Perfect, simple, quick dinner for 2!

Loved it! But the end pieces were my and my daughter's favorites, so I'm going to try making mini Stromboli next time so that every piece is an end piece. 😋

Tasted good & easy to make. We are planning on adding more ingredients next time to change things up but the original was pretty good

Skipped the egg wash and parsley because I forgot tbh but was good none the less very easy tasty got some good looking lunch for tomorrow as well 🌝

Use a very small amount of sauce inside or you'll have a mess when rolling. I've made this twice and suggest not rolling the dough thinner just using as is to avoid rips. We love this idea a have modified to add veggies etc.

You can do any kind of cold meats

Would be much better with homemade dough and will try it that way next time

It was a but soggy in the middle. Next time I'm going to fold instead of roll. My husband did love the taste and concept.

Super simple, super delicious! Toddler friendly and the whole family loved it. Made leftovers too!

I didn't follow the recipe exactly and changed it up a bit to my liking. What I changed was I eliminated the sauce and used Italian dressing instead. I also added ham to the meat choices. I sprinkled Italian seasoning on the top after rolling & brushed the top with garlic butter. I cooked it at 325 for 50 minutes and then brushed the top again with garlic butter. I prefer to serve the pizza sauce warmed on the side and dip my the Stromboli in it.

Made 2 while I had the ingredients all out. Served with Ceasar salad.

Delicious! Use a package of sliced mozzarella instead and sprinkle oarmesian inside and on top. I sprinkled nutritional yeast on top as well. Winner!

Pretty good. Next time I’ll add some veggies. I cooked it on a hot stone and set the oven on broil the last few minutes since the top still seemed fairly soft.

I used prosciutto, pepperoni, and Coppa for the meat and shredded mozzarella shredded parmesan cheese. Also sprinkled your Italian seasoning over the meat and cheese before rolling it up. It was so delicious.

I folded as opposed to rolled but it turned out great! Big hit with the the kiddos!

Overall this turned out good. However I do think I need to adjust meat to cheese ratio and maybe add more seasonings

It was good. Equivalent to a frozen pizza, pretty much.

I used puff pastry and it was bomb. Totally easy and fun for the the kids to make. Plus, it looked amazing which made me feel amazing.

Good. I used a vodka pasta sauce and cooked it for 27 minutes. I would echo previous comments that this recipe falls short on serving size.

I enjoyed it but I do not think it was a simple, easy recipe. It was way harder to pull off than the directions suggest. It is a quick recipe, sure, but not super easy.

Will be a keeper for a quick meal! I will be trying this again with different ingredients.

I make my own base so that it's GF but they are on regular rotation in our meal plan. Son makes his and I make mine. Easily customisable to your own tastes

Made with homemade dough and sauce. It worked perfectly with our pizza stone. Can easily feed 4 people! It was so delicious!

I would use less salami or maybe ham instead. The pizza dough didn’t want to brown up, might use something different next time. Good but could be better

Quick and easy to make, tasted great and even managed to adjust fillings along the roll to suit tastes/intolerances.

Difficulties rolling it up. There wasn’t enough cheese for John and he said it tasted salty. I thought it was good and so did he. Did not serve six. Fed us both with one slice leftover. Really hard to roll up using parchment paper. Definitely use the egg wash. Baked about 30 minutes.

We replaced pizza dough for normal white wraps and was just as delicious 👌

Added ham, green pepper, extra spices and garlic powder. Served with tomato soup for dipping and the combo was SO GOOD!

Making this stromboli was really easy and it came out fantastic. My only qualm was that the thin crust from Pillsbury was so incredibly thin that the poor thing ripped to shreds and I had to Frankenstein it together. It worked out though. It was still really good despite it's less than stellar appearance. I'd make this again for sure! Probably add more cheese inside!

The instructions called for sliced mozzarella but then the video showed shredded. I used shredded and wish I had used sliced. Also next time I'm adding ham! Very very easy and quick and family loved it

This stromboli was fantastic! I made my own pizza sauce but other than that I followed the recipe. It's going to be a regular in our home.

Not my best photo but this was delicious and extremely easy. Perfect dinner after a very long day at work and you just don’t want to spend an eternity cooking.

This was very good! Great for a pizza night! I used a whole wheat pizza dough recipe and made my own sauce. Make sure to get good quality cured meats to bake with. 👌

I'm still a beginner cook, so the pizza dough was a brand new thing for me. My only tip is to try make the dough as thin as possible and don't put ingredients close to the opposite edge where you're rolling or they'll fall out. Mistakes aside, it turned out great and was easy for me to make between my day shift and night shift jobs!

This was tasty and easy. I lightened up on the amount of pepperoni and salami and added cooked ground Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and red pepper. I cooked it for the 20 minutes but a couple minutes longer would have been fine too! I have a family of four and everyone was a fan. Served with a side salad as the stromboli by itself wasn't enough for a full meal.

Went down well with all of us. Bit too rich to have all the time but was pretty awesome!! Also had to cook it for little bit longer

I would enjoy a slightly thicker crust. Also maybe a 1/3 less pepperoni.

Delicious! Wouldn't make this a regular part of the menu, it isn't the healthiest, but a quick, flavorful treat. Modify with veggies, different cheeses, make it vegan or vegetarian. It is a blank canvas. If you stuff it too much, be sure make the cuts in the top deep enough to cook the dough in the middle.

I'd bake it about 5 min longer or it's a bit doughy

I completely forgot the egg wash but it still turned out fine.

dough didnt work right

Use pre rolled pizza dough from Aldi. Added tomato puree, grated cheese and wafer thin ham. Rolled it up and put in the oven for 15-20 mins. Everyone who tried it loved it.

Delightful flavor, made my own pizza dough and my own sauce. Still was quick! Added Asiago cheese, just a bit, for flavor.

This was super quick and simple to make! We added cooked mushrooms and bacon to ours as well.

It was amazingly delicious. But be very careful not to overstuffed. Follow the amounts listed. I had quick easy overstuffed Stromboli.

20 minutes in the oven wasn’t quite long enough. We did another 10 minutes but it still tasted a little doughy in the middle.

use flour when rolling out doe to prevent sticking

This was so good! we bought the good black label salami, and pepperoni because I am pregnant, and the only way I can eat these meats is heated up, and it was super delicious! Instead of the egg we used a garlic butter to top. next time we are gonna go with a thicker crust, just made it with a thin crust this time to make sure everyone in the house had a serving. 🙂

So delicious! But one isn’t enough for our family of 6. Four hungry kids & hubby rushed to the store to get more crust. I would definitely make this again. I did add garlic with Italian seasoning and parsley to make a dressing to the inside and top of crust.

the egg on the top made it taste horrible. last time I brushed with garlic butter and it came out way better and didn't have a funky taste. my family just ate the meat out
