Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 170c fan
Step 2
Brown the butter (see JW's insta tutorial)
Step 3
Beat brown butter and sugar for 5 mins, add egg and beat for further 3 mins
Step 4
Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixer, beat to stiff dough.
Step 5
Beat in chocolate chips and stem ginger
Step 6
Chill for an hour.
Step 7
Divide dough into 16 equal ortions and bake in batches, well spaced, on lined baking trays for 12-15 mins.
Step 8
Cool for a few mins on the tray then transfer to a wire rack.
