Instructions

Step 1
Mix together in a small bowl baking soda, milk, and vinegar. Then add in eggs and butter, mix well. Third combine with bananas.
Step 2
In a separate medium bowl, combine salt, sugar, flour, and nuts if using. Next combine wet and dry batters together.
Step 3
Pour mixed batter into a baking bread loaf pan (dusted with flour) or muffin pans (dusted or lined). Bake loaf at 350F for one hour, using a cake tester to ensure doneness. Bake longer if center is not set. Muffins may bake faster than loaf bread.
Step 4
Let cool completely before slicing and serving with an extra pat of butter if you desire.
