Instructions

Step 1
Place cast iron skillet in oven and preheat to 450°.
Step 2
Put the chicken in a bowl and season with Tony Chacere, garlic powder, onion powder, baking powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
When oven is preheated, remove the skillet and place the chicken in skin side down (no need to add oil or anything). Bake for 20 min. Once done, flip the chicken over and cook another 20 min.
Step 4
Prepare BBQ sauce of choice. Once chicken is done, remove from oven, add about 1/4 cup of the juice from the chicken to the sauce and mix in.
Step 5
Drain the rest of the juice and fat off, cover the chicken with sauce and bake and additional 10 minutes at 350° or broil for a few minutes.
