Step 1
Wash strawberries then set aside to dry

Step 2
Roll out store bought puff pastry ( or homemade) cut down the middle then into 16 slices . Prick half with a fork then brush the other half with egg wash or milk then bake at 200 c /400 f fan setting for 10 minutes then set aside to cool down

Step 3
Add cream cheese cream vanilla and powdered sugar to a bowl ( if you like it very sweet add a little more powdered sugar ) then put the bowl mover a bowl of ice to keep it chilled . Whip the cream with an electric whisk for about 2 minutes until fluffy . Put into a pastry bag then pipe onto the bottoms of the puff pastry ( 8 slices) slice the strawberries in half and place ob the cream then add a little more cream .

Cover the creamy slice with the other puff pastry slice then dust with a little more powder sugar . Serve straight away or keep in the fridge until serving
