Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°. Use bake setting not roast, if you have a connection oven.
Step 2
Remove the skin from the ham
Step 3
Cut crosses into the fat, making little squares.
Step 4
Place Ham on rack in roasting pan.
Step 5
Pour a can of ginger ale over the ham, cover, and place in a 325° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Step 6
After baking for 1 1/2 hours, remove from oven and baste with glaze (reserve a little glaze)
Step 7
Increase the temp of the oven to 375°
Step 8
Place Ham back in oven, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Step 9
When done take out of oven and baste again with the remaining glaze. Cover and allow the ham to rest for 15 minutes.
