Strawberries and Cream Chocolate Sandos

Delicious fluffy chocolate sponge with lots of cream and fresh strawberries . This is such a delicious and very easy dessert and all your friends will be asking for seconds . It makes 4 large sandwich slices which serves 4-6 easily

Instructions

Step 1
Separate 4 eggs then add milk and cooking oil to the yolks and mix until combined .
Step 2
Sift flour and cocoa powder into the yolks and mix until smooth
Step 3
Beat egg whites with a Mixer until frothy then slowly add 1/2 cup of sugar beating to stiff peaks . Mix a little with the yolk mixture to loosen it up then fold all together until well incorporated . Bake on a greased lined baking dish on 170 c fan setting or 340 f for 25 minutes
Step 4
Once the sponge is cooked let it cool on a wrack and remove the paper . Then cut in half and then quarter it as side will be a sandwich .
Step 5
Whip cream with 2 tbsp sugar until stiff then spread some ob the base of tech sandwich and add washed clean strawberries three go sideways in the middle of each sandwich so when its cut it leaves a nice design but you can place then however you like then top with the rest of the cream and wrap on clingfilm. If you placed the strawberries in the middle use a label with a mark so you know which side to slice it . Place in the fridge until serving and enjoy
