Smash Burgers with Added Spices

Add all the burgers to a large bowl

Add in the oregano, chilli, garlic, liquid smoke, paprika
Step 3
Mix the ingredients together until combined.
Step 4
Divide the mixture into 6 sections and roll them into round balls and set aside

Cut a sheet of parchment paper to around the size of A3 and fold in half

Unfold the paper and add a ball of meat onto the middle of one side and fold the other side on top of the meat.

Gently press down on the ball of meat, trying to make a circle shape with the now smash burgers, they should be around 4-5mm thick.

Heat two frying pans or skillets and brush with a little oil, not to much as there is a lot of fat in the smashed burgers

Once the pans are hot enough place the place the burgers and cook on both sides for around 2-3 minutes or when they are caramelised.

Add slices of Burger cheese onto the top of each burger.

Take the burgers out of one pan or skillet and place on top of the burgers in the other pan or skillet, and cover with a pan lid until the cheese melts.

Time to serve, cut a burger bun in half, add your favourite burger sauce, add the burgers onto the bun.
Step 13
Add a slice of tomato, and some pickled slaw more sauce and the top of the burger. Serve with a side of fries or wedges and more slaw. Lick your lips and enjoy.
