Instructions
Step 1
Add the wet ingredients into the bread maker, followed by the dry ingredients.
Step 2
Put the bread maker onto the dough setting. When it finishes after 45 minutes, leave the dough to rise for 1 hour
Step 3
Dust a baking sheet with flour
Step 4
Form the dough into an oblong shape on the baking sheet and make 2cm deep cuts in the bread. Place a bowl over the top and leave for 40 minutes
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 20°C. Place a bowl of boiling water on the bottom shelf and bake for 30-35 minutes. Check that the bread is baked by tapping the underside - it should sound hollow.
Step 6
Transfer the bloomer to a wire rack to cool.
