Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Season with salt; add pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until about 2 minutes before tender.
Step 2
Drain, reserving ¾ cup pasta cooking water.
Step 3
In a large pan, melt 2 Tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add pepper and cook, swirling pan, until toasted (about 1 minute).
Step 4
Add ½ cup of your reserved pasta water to skillet and bring to a simmer.
Step 5
Add pasta and remaining butter. Reduce heat to low and begin stirring and tossing with tongs until the butter is melted.
Step 6
Remove pan from heat; add your parmesan, stirring and tossing until cheese melts, sauce coats the pasta, and pasta is al dente (you can add more pasta water if sauce seems dry).
Step 7
Then just serve your pasta and enjoy!
