Instructions
Step 1
Grease a 24cm cake tin. Preheat the oven to 250 dec C.
Step 2
Melt the cooking chocolate and the butter in a heavy based pan over a low heat.
Step 3
Beat the eggs and sugar till light and airy. Carefully stir the slightly cooked chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
Step 4
Blend the flour and baking powder and fold carefully into the mixture, stir carefully.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for about 15 min. the cake should not become firm. the 'under cooked' batter tastes like a delicious filling. If making only half of the recipe, then baking time is 8-10min.
Step 6
The cooked cake may be garnished with a little grated chocolate and a ring of whipped cream, after it has cooled down.
