Instructions

Start by creaming the butter for 3-8 minutes until light yellow and soft

Add the brown sugar and mix on medium or high speed until light brown and combined (the brown sugar might not combine fully and leave a blotches, but that’s fine!)

Add salt and vanilla (you do not need to use salt or vanilla if you don’t have any. Taste might be a little sweeter)

Finally, combine the flour in 1/4th each time

If the dough is sticky, chill in the fridge for 10-30 minutes or freezer for about 5 minutes

Lay out the tray with parchment paper or non stick grease (butter can be used)

Divide dough between 10-20 cookies depending on the size you want (tips : small ones are about 15-20 grams, while big ones can be up to 60 grams per cookie. 1-1.5 tbsp for small cookies and up to 3-5 tsp for big ones)
