1 cupflour
1 cupalmond flour
½ cupsugar
2 tspbaking powder
½ tspsalt
2 Tbsppoppy seed
1zest of orange
0.5orange
Juice of
⅓ cupcanola oil
2eggs
1 cupmilk
1 tspvanilla extract
½ tspalmond extract

Instructions
Cake
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Butter and flour a 9 inch round cake pan and set aside.
Step 2
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl together. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix both wet and dry mixtures together until no dry streaks remain.
Step 3
Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
Frosting
Step 4
Let cream cheese sit out at room temperature to soften. Then place in a mixing bowl and whip with electric mixer until smooth.
Step 5
Add all other ingredients to the cream cheese and whip until smooth. Frosting may be thin, if so, place in the fridge until thickened.
Assembly
Step 6
Place frosting on cooled cake. Top with lemon zest if you wish, then serve and enjoy!
