Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 150°C

Grease a square tin
Step 3
Put the margarine and chocolate into a glass bowl and place over a pan of hot water. Melt together
Step 4
Take the chocolate and margarine off the heat and pour into the bowl with the caster sugar
Step 5
Beat the eggs together with the vanilla essence in a small bowl and gradually add to the chocolate mixture
Step 6
Sieve in the flour and baking powder
Step 7
Put into the tin and cook for 25 minutes
