Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter and onions and garlic until softened not browned
Step 2
Add mushrooms and cook 3 minutes over high heat stirring
Step 3
sprinkle the flour to coat mushrooms stirring.
Step 4
Add the stock, stir and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add bay leaf and simmer for 10 mins
Step 6
Allow to cool slightly, remove bay leaf and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Bring to boil and add cream if using, reheat gently before serving.
