Instructions
Step 1
Soak dates in hot water for a few min
Step 2
Blend dates with coconut oil, and a little bit of water until paste consistency. Can optionally add some nuts here to blend into the paste too
Step 3
Melt dark chocolate/cacao paste, cacao powder, coconut oil, and peanut butter to combine. Ratio is roughly 3 chocolate : 2 peanut butter : 1 coconut oil
Step 4
In bowl, mix chocolate mixture with date paste, and add shredded coconut, chopped nuts, and a punch of salt. Texture should be firm and sticky.
Step 5
Prepare a mixture of shredded coconut and crushed nuts for cover
Step 6
Grab a small amount of mixture and place a whole almond in the centre, roll around in hands around the almond. Then roll and press over the coconut/nut mix to cover
Step 7
Store in freezer
