Vegan Flapjacks

These flapjacks are dairy free and use mostly fresh oranges for their sweetness . They are super tasty and can be kept frozen for 4-6 months if making in batches .

Instructions

Step 1
In a Pan add the coconut oil then zest of the two oranges heat on medium heat stirring then bring to a simmer

Stir in the nut butter ( you can use peanut butter if you prefer ) maple syrup cinnamon a good pinch of salt and the juice of the two oranges bring to a simmer then turn off the heat

Step 3
Stir in the oats really well until completely combined then Line and grease a small baking tray and push the oats right down flattening them out . Bake at 160 c / 320 f for 18 minutes

Step 4
Remove the flapjacks from the oven and let them cool. Melt the chocolate( make sure it’s vegan dark chocolate ) thinning with a little coconut oil if necessary then cover and let it set . Enjoy !
