Instructions

Step 1
In a large heavy bottomed pot, melt butter and add onions. Once onions are translucent, add garlic as well as seasoning salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to combine. Add flour and stir until it has coated everything. Add chicken stock, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Next add broccoli, carrots, and cream. Cover for another 15 minutes, then add cheddar, and season to taste. Serve hot with toast.
