Slow Cooker Apple Cider
6 steps
Prep:15minCook:6h
This is the ultimate fall drink! Making it home tastes way better than store-bought and it’s super easy. You can control the sweetness level which is very important for me. Make this if you have a lot of apples!

Instructions
Step 1
In the slow cooker add the sliced apples. Pour water, add the clementines, and the whole spices (cinnamon sicks, allspice, and cloves).
Step 2
Put the lid on and set on high for 3 hours.
Step 3
After 3 hours, mash everything with a masher to release all its juices. Then, add ½ cup of brown sugar.
Step 4
Put the lid back on, and let it steep another 3 hours on high.
Step 5
Place a fine mesh strainer on top of a large heat proof bowl and strain everything. It’s easier to ladle the large chunks first and push its juices through the sieve. Then to strain the rest of the liquid and push the rest of the liquid through until you’re left with a clear liquid.
Step 6
Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Serve either cold or hot.
