Instructions
Step 1
In a pan saute, garlic and onions. Once its lightly brown, add the mixed vegies
Step 2
Add the tuna flakes. Once the tuna has dried add the raisins
Step 3
Season with salt, pepper and 1tbsp sugar (to your liking). Set aside to let it cool
Step 4
Dough: In a bowl, place all the dough ingredients: 2 1/2 cups (300g) of all purpose flour, 2tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 cup ( 120g) unsalted butter ( cut into cubes), 1/2cup of water. Mix together until fully combined, no need to make the dough smooth. Cover with cloth for 10-15 mins before cutting the dough
Step 5
Flatten the dough into a rectangular shape. Once flattened, evenly spread 80g of room temp unsalted butter. Roll it into a log. Let it rest for 10-15mins before diving and cutting the dough.
Step 6
Flatten the dough (about half the rectangle size from the previous step) let it rest again for 10-15mins
Step 7
Once rested, flatten the dough again into 2mm thickness. . Rest for another 10-15mins
Step 8
Divide dough using a cookie cutter or weighing it to 50g each. Add a spoonful of filling, fold and crimp to seal the dough
Step 9
Brush with egg wash and poke dough with knife or fork to serve as vents. Bake the dough for 20-25mins at 200C
