Donut Muffins

My Jozi peeps, brace yourselves for a cold morning tomorrow🙈. Do you feel that icy wind already?! I have the perfect bake for you to warm up and get through the last (we hope!) cold front for the year ☺️ I made these donut muffins (coz they taste like donuts but ate muffins)😜 on Saturday and they were a hit with my family! Also the best part for us is that they’re really simple to make, no need for an electric mixer, simply mix by hand😊 Anyone keen on giving these a try? Let me know if you do! Have a lovely week ahead everyone🩷 Donut Muffins 1 and 3/4 cup flour 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/3 cup oil 3/4 cup white sugar 1 egg 3/4 cup milk Combine dry ingredients. Mix liquids together separately. Add liquid to the dry ingredients. Mix but do not over beat. Spoon into lined muffin pan and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for app. 20 minutes. While muffins are baking prepare sugar topping: 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 tsp cinnamon When muffins are baked and still warm, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar mixture.
