Instructions

Step 1
Mix the almond butter & the date syrup together. add in 1 tbsp of df milk but do not mix. microwave for 20 seconds, then mix until a smooth caramel sauce forms. if you want a runnier caramel repeat the same step with more df milk.
Step 2
Blend oats, baking powder, pumpkin spice, salt, maca powder, & flax in blender until it reaches a flour like consistency, then add in remaining wet ingredients & blend until fully combined. pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased baking dish, dollop some of the caramel in, then cover with the rest of the batter. bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, then top with remaining caramel & toasted walnuts
