Spiced Cranberry Sauce

Instructions

Step 1
Add sherry to a medium pot followed by the assorted spices and reduce the sherry by half over medium heat.

Step 2
Once the sherry is reduced, strain spices out using a fine mesh sieve.

Put the strained sherry back into the pot, add orange juice, water, and sugar into the pot and dissolve the sugar completely over medium heat.

Once the sugar is dissolved, add in the cranberries. If using frozen cranberries, cook for 15-20 minutes, if using fresh, cook until they pop (about 10 minutes).

Leave mixture to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before blending and straining through a fine mesh sieve.
