Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°
Step 2
Beat eggs on high-speed until frothy, about one minute
Step 3
Add the sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, salt and ground roasted pecans. Beat on medium speed until well blended
Step 4
Stir in pecan pieces
Step 5
Pour filling into pie shell and bake for 40 minutes.
Step 6
Reduce heat to 325° and bake until filling is browned on top and crust is light golden brown, about 30 to 40 minutes.
Step 7
Cool on wire rack
