Country Biscuits & Gravy

The gravy is doubled because I use a lot on my biscuits. If you want regular portions from original recipe, half the gravy recipe of what I have.

Instructions

Biscuits

Step 1
Sift flour and baking powder into a large bowl
Step 2
Add salt and sugar into mix. Mix with a fork.
Step 3
Add softened butter into bowl. Mix with a fork or by hand until fully mixed.
Step 4
Add buttermilk into mix.
Step 5
Mix until dough is uniform.
Step 6
Roll out dough to about 1/4” thick and use round cup to cut-out biscuits
Step 7
Use egg to egg wash biscuits
Step 8
Bake at 425F for 12-15min or until golden brown on top.

Gravy

Step 9
Cook sausage in a large pan
Step 10
Add flour and mix
Step 11
Add milk and mix
Step 12
Add seasonings to taste
Step 13
Let gravy mix cook until thicken
