Instant Pot Puttanesca Sauce, Meatballs and Pasta

Instructions

Step 1
Turn the IP on saute’. Add onion, cook until starting to soften. Add garlic, anchovies. Saute’ for another minute or two.
Step 2
Add crushed canned whole tomatoes, tomato paste, crushed red pepper, black pepper, basil, oregano, sugar, olives, capers, wine. Stir
Step 3
Place the meatballs in the sauce.
Step 4
Pour the pasta on top of the meatballs. DO NOT STIR. The pasta has to sit on top of the meatballs to avoid burning. Pour the beef broth gently and evenly on top of the dry pasta
Step 5
Cook at high pressure 8 minutes (or ½ the time the pasta package says to boil it)
