Sourdough bagels

IN MY HOMEMADE BREAD ERA WBU??? this is actually the easiest bagel recipe ever I am so gagged with how amazing these bagels came out and all this time I thought that bagels were super difficult to make but it turns out that you just need a few easy ingredients and one to two and you have the sweetest and most delicious New York city-esque bagel. dEATS: 🌱In a stand mixer add: 1 cup warm water, 1/4 cup sourdough discard, 1 3/4 tsp yeast, 1 tbs sugar, 1tsp salt, 2 1/2 cups flour 🌱Use a dough hook to combine the ingredients and as it comes together slowly add an additional 1/2 cup flour. Mix on medium for about 10 minutes 🌱Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a towel to let rise in a warm place for about one hour or until doubled in size 🌱 Punch down the dough and cut into six equal pieces and roll into balls. 🌱 Use your thumb to make a hole through the center of each ball and stretch the dough until you have a bagel shape 🌱 Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 2 tablespoons of sugar. Add about three bagels at a time into the water and cook on each side for about 30 seconds. Remove from the water using a slotted spoon and place on a pan. 🌱 Add your toppings while the bagels are still wet. 🌱 Bake the bagels for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
