Chilli Garlic Prawns
A quick dinner favorite 🦐🤍 recipe below👇🏼
ingredients:
- 1/2 spicy green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 onion
- 500g shrimp of choice
- chili pepper flakes, paprika powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste
sauce ingredients:
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey/ maple syrup
- 2 tsp cornstarch
optional:
serve w/ basmati rice & corn
top w/ sesame seeds & green onion
instructions:
1. First, wash & dry your shrimp. Marinate in a bowl w/ paprika powder, garlic powder, salt & olive oil.
2. Second, in another bowl combine all the ingredients needed for the sauce, mix and set aside for later!
3. Next, sauté your spicy green pepper, red pepper & onion on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add your shrimp and let them sizzle together for about 10 minutes!
4. Now add the sauce mixture overtop and let it simmer for 5 more minutes.
5. Finally, serve on some rice & top with sesame seeds and green onion! Enjoy🥰
