Instructions
Step 1
Take either frozen or fresh sprouts, washed and prepared as usual for baking. Drizzle with olive oil to coat and then season with salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese to your liking
Step 2
Spread out sprouts in baking pan and lay a metal rack of some kind, (I used a metal cooling rack for cookies) on top making sure the rack is large enough to prop on the edges of the baking dish you're using.
Step 3
Spread strips of bacon on rack and bake in a 400° F oven for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Step 4
Check bacon and sprouts to make sure it is tender and cooked through. If not, bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes. Checking after the 5 minutes mark
Tips:
Step 5
I substituted frozen green beans for half of sprouts, and they were an awesome combination.
Step 6
I have also left off parmesan and added chopped onion to vegetables.
Step 7
Also, the 1 lb of Brussel sprouts is a starting point. The amount of vegetables and bacon is determined by the number of people you're feeding.
