Best steamed broccoli

This is my favorite way of cooking broccoli. You don't have to worry about overcooking it. You can make it as crispy or as soft as you like it. It doesn't turn gray no matter how soft it gets.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut broccoli into medium-sized florets.
Step 2
Rinse well, so broccoli is wet. Place in microwave-safe bowl.
Step 3
Add a large pat of butter. Cover loosely. I use an inverted plate.
Step 4
Microwave on high for 2 - 3 minutes, depending on how much you are making and how soft you want it
Step 5
Let it sit until the rest of the meal is cooked. Then microwave for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes more, depending on how much you are making and how soft you want it.
