Instructions
Step 1
Mix the granulated sugar with saffron threads in a mortar and pestle, and grind them together until the saffron infuses the sugar with its vibrant color and aromatic flavor.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine all the spices: powdered rose petals, nutmeg, cumin, cinnamon, sugar and saffron mixture, black pepper, and cardamom.
Step 3
Use a whisk or fork to thoroughly mix the spices until they are evenly combined.
Step 4
Store the advieh spice blend in an airtight container, preferably a glass jar, in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.
