Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 2
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or tinfoil


Step 3
In a mixer, cream the butter, shortening, and brown sugar untill light and fluffy.

Add egg and half & half, and mix well.


Step 5
Add oats, flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix well






Step 6
Add the chopped apples and toffee bits and mix untill incorporated


Step 7
Spoon tablespoon sized drop on to the pan. Smash the balls down
Step 8
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or untill light golden brown.
Step 9
Let rest for a minute
